The founder of the company - Vermeire Josef has developed his passion and knowledge of tanks in the 50’s while working, also as a driver, in his parents’ company dealing with transportation of oil products. Up to the end of the 1980’s he played an active and important role in the creation of 2 Belgian tank-construction companies and their sales departments. In 1990 the company Vervetank was established. Up to 2012 Vervetank operated as a private company. The basic market remained in Benelux, although many big foreign contracts were realized. In view of the increasing market and greater financial needs, the Vervetank company was transformed into VVT Bvba at the beginning of 2012. Currently, the third generation is active in the company. The philosophy of the company remained the same over the years: the client comes first.
